Fund Controller

DescriptionKforce is partnering with a client in the Saint Louis, MO area to identify a Fund Controller to join their team. This on-site position offers the opportunity to play a key role in fund operations and financial reporting while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:* Maintain fund accounting records, reconciliations, and supporting schedules across multiple investment entities* Manage capital calls, distributions, cash activity, management fees, and partner allocations* Prepare quarterly financial statements, investor reporting, and capital account statements* Support forecasting, audits, tax reporting, and fund governance documentation* Oversee relationships with third-party fund administrators and ensure compliance with fund operations* Identify opportunities to improve fund accounting and reporting processes through automation and AI-enabled tools while maintaining strong internal controls* Partner with internal and external stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy, and reporting capabilities* Contribute to special projects and continuous process improvement initiatives in a collaborative, fast-paced environmentRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field* 4+ years of accounting, finance, or fund accounting experience; Public accounting, private equity, or financial services experience preferred* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications* Experience leveraging technology and AI-enabled tools to improve processes, with a continuous improvement mindset* Self-motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environmentJob TypeDirect HireCompensation - $
