We are working with a Real Estate Investment Fund that is in need a Fund Controller with Yardi experience.
Responsibilities :
- Fund Accounting: Manage day-to-day fund accounting operations, capital calls, and cash distributions.
- Yardi System Management: Utilize Yardi Voyager or investment modules to process transactions, run general ledgers, and automate workflows.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and fund-level performance reports.
- Audits & Compliance: Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual audits and regulatory compliance.
- Investor Relations: Assist with communication regarding investor statements, metrics, and inquiries
Qualifications :
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive fund accounting or controller experience, preferably in real estate or private equity.
- Software: Strong proficiency in Yardi accounting platforms and advanced Excel skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
