Fund Accounting Project ManagerOur client, a top-tier management consulting company, has partnered with a private equity client that is undergoing a key operational transformation - transitioning their growth equity funds from internally managed accounting to a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) model. They’re seeking a hands-on Fund Accounting Project Manager to lead and support this conversion effort, ensuring seamless transition, documentation, and process optimization.Responsibilities and Requirements:Lead or support the TPA conversion project for growth equity fundsLiaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to coordinate timelines, handoffs, and deliverablesWork closely with the TPA provider, documenting requirements, testing data flows, and validating outputsDraft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process maps, and workflow documentationOversee or support fund accounting processes during and post-transition to ensure accuracy and completenessUse SEI and Geneva Fund Accounting Systems to assist in data validation, reporting, and reconciliationSupport change management efforts and operational risk mitigation6–10 years of experience in fund accounting, middle/back office operations, or project management within financial services or private equityHands-on experience with TPA conversions – ideally in a private equity or alternative investments contextFamiliarity with SEI and Geneva Fund Accounting platformsStrong understanding of fund structures, NAV calculations, and reporting requirementsProven ability to document and streamline processes: SOPs, handoffs, RACI, process flowsExcellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
