Collaborate with industry veterans and premier investors.Job DescriptionFund Accounting Manager OverviewThe Fund Accounting Manager will oversee fund administration and client service delivery in a high-growth AI/technology-driven fund administration environment.Collaborate with a team of experts to deliver exceptional service to sophisticated investment firms.Drive operational excellence and efficiencies through tech-enabled automation and systemization improvements.Contribute to transforming the $30 trillion fund administration industry with innovative solutions.Participate in recruitment, development, and supervision of staff accountants to build a strong team.Work in a hybrid environment combining onsite collaboration and remote flexibility.Engage with AI and machine learning technologies to solve complex fund administration challenges.Join a category-defining business backed by premier investors and industry veterans.Fund Accounting Manager Key Responsibilities & DutiesOversee end-to-end execution of client deliverables and communications in fund administration.Generate accurate fund administration reports and supervise team deliverables to ensure quality.Identify and implement automation and systemization improvements in collaboration with the product development team.Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, tax, audit, and industry standards.Perform and rigorously review complex calculations for waterfall distributions and capital calls/contributions.Manage day-to-day operations, including email traffic, capital calls, and inquiries.Mentor and develop team members to foster growth and excellence.Build trust-based relationships with clients and serve as a thought partner to general and limited partners.Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries, needs, and opportunities.Fund Accounting Manager Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is required.3-7 years of fund accounting experience in venture capital, growth equity, or private equity asset classes.Experience hiring, training, and managing a team of fund accountants.Proficiency in preparing fund financial statements and comprehensive LP reporting.Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance for fund accounting.Experience with Limited Partnership Agreements and other investment structures.Demonstrated impact in leveraging AI/ML for fund administration challenges.CPA certification is preferred but not required.Fluency with software solutions and openness to modern technologies.
