Tax Accountant

Hiring an Analytical, detail-oriented Fund Accountant, needed to support quarterly and year-end reporting. This role will analyze financial information, identify issues, research questions, and collaborate with Asset Managers to meet reporting deadlines. The client is open to seeing more junior profiles. Tax experience is beneficial.

Job Duties

• Support year-end and quarterly reporting, analyzing financial information and identifying discrepancies or issues.
• Assist with quarterly reporting and year-end preparation.
• Research and independently investigate reporting questions
• Manage high-volume reporting while meeting deadlines.
• Utilize external systems and established templates to gather and analyze partnership information.

Required Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statements.
• Understanding of how financial statements correlate to tax returns.
• Strong organization, time management, and follow-up skills.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
