Functional Tester (Manual) – Insurance BillingLocation: Bloomington, IL (Onsite)We are seeking an experienced Manual Functional Tester with strong domain expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life Insurance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Billing and Payments systems, including Majesco Billing and other insurance billing platforms.

The role requires hands-on functional testing, integration testing, and the ability to lead QA initiatives for billing system implementations and enhancements.Key Responsibilities:Domain & Functional TestingPerform manual functional testing within P&C and Life Insurance domains.Validate billing and payment systems including invoicing, collections, commissions, refunds, adjustments, and payment processing.Ensure business rules, configurations, and rating logic are accurately implemented.Conduct end-to-end validation across billing touchpoints.Integration TestingExecute integration testing across:Billing & Payments platformsCRM systemsDigital applicationsThird-party vendor billing systemsLife Insurance systemsValidate upstream and downstream system data flow and reconciliation.Test Planning & ExecutionPrepare and maintain:Test StrategyTest PlanTest Scenarios & Test CasesTest Execution PlanPerform System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, and End-to-End Testing.Log, track, and manage defects; perform root cause analysis.Provide QA status reports, risk metrics, and progress updates.Leadership & Stakeholder ManagementAct as QA Lead for billing system initiatives when required.Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, vendors, and CRM/digital teams.Manage escalations, risks, and cross-functional coordination.Drive test reviews, defect triage calls, and sign-off processes.Required Qualifications:7–12 years of experience in Manual Functional Testing.Strong domain knowledge in P&C and/or Life Insurance.Experience with Majesco Billing or other insurance billing systems.Hands-on experience in billing/payment application testing.Strong understanding of billing configurations and business rules.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience leading QA efforts for billing implementations.Familiarity with CRM and digital platform integrations.Exposure to insurance policy administration systems.
