Functional Test Technician Lead - 2nd Shift OnlySummary: Performs complex assembly operations and leads production teams. Duties and responsibilities:Under minimal supervision, performs substantially varied and complex tasksApplies advanced skills to perform functions of the position within assigned areaAdapts new procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet the more complex requirements of the positionRelies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goalsServes as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levelsOrients, trains, assigns, and checks the work of other employeesMust be able to distinguish colorsKnowledge of production proceduresAbility to read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reportsSimple computer literacyAbility to work well under pressure and to meet multiple deadlines while maintaining a cooperative working relationship with employees and supervisorAbility to help motivate and encourage employees to reach their goalsMay help assist in performance managementMay assume supervisor/manager's duties in their absenceScopeHas advanced and specialized expertise, typically developed through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experienceCompletes assignments and facilitates the work activities of others; may coordinate work beyond own areaProposes improvements to processesActs as a lead, coordinating the work of others but is not a supervisorWorks autonomously within established procedures and practicesEducation and ExperienceHigh School w/6+ years' experience or AA/AS/Technical School w/3-6 years' experienceCertified with J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 Class StandardsPhysical demands and abilitiesAble to lift up to 35 pounds.Regularly perform repetitive tasks.Able to stand for entire shift.Regularly possesses manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately.Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral.Vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.All Employees ShallComply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards Attend scheduled EH&S training program Actively support the organization's efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans Recommend improved EH&S practices Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and third parties.
