Functional Test Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing, commissioning, equipment validation, electrical continuity testing, and pressure/leak testing.
• Execute controlled test procedures, document results, and support structured troubleshooting efforts.
• Follow revision-controlled drawings, BOMs, specifications, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Verify materials, work locations, and documentation before testing activities begin.
• Complete required inspections, traceability records, and quality documentation.
• Escalate safety, quality, material, or engineering issues and maintain a clean, organized work environment (5S).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial testing, commissioning, equipment validation, or startup experience.
• Experience performing electrical continuity, measurement, pressure, and leak testing.
• Proficient with test equipment, meters, instrumentation, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Experience following controlled test procedures and maintaining accurate test records.
• Ability to read and follow revision-controlled technical documentation.
• Strong attention to quality, compliance, traceability, and escalation of abnormalities.
