Functional Program ManagerWe are seeking a detail-oriented, strategic, and collaborative Functional Program Manager to oversee and manage cross-functional programs aligned with business objectives. This role focuses on ensuring seamless coordination across departments, driving key initiatives, and delivering value through effective program governance and execution.Key Responsibilities:Program Planning & Execution:Develop, implement, and manage strategic programs within a functional domain (e.g., IT, HR, Operations, Product, Finance) from initiation through delivery.Stakeholder Engagement:Serve as the primary liaison between business units, functional teams, and external partners to align program goals and ensure effective communication.Project Coordination:Collaborate with project managers and team leads to ensure timely delivery of program components, tracking milestones, deliverables, and interdependencies.Risk & Issue Management:Identify risks, issues, and bottlenecks; develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.Budget & Resource Management:Manage program budgets, resource allocation, and reporting to ensure programs are delivered on time and within budget.Performance Tracking:Define KPIs and success metrics; monitor and report program performance, progress, and impact to leadership.Process Improvement:Drive continuous improvement initiatives within functional processes, tools, and governance frameworks.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field (Master's preferred)5+ years of experience in program or project management, with at least 2 years in a functional management roleProven track record managing large, complex cross-functional programsStrong knowledge of program/project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, or SmartsheetExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsPMP, PgMP, or Agile certifications are a plusPreferred Attributes:Strong business acumen and ability to link program objectives with strategic goalsExperience working in matrixed or global organizationsAdaptability in dynamic, fast-paced environmentsExperience with change management and stakeholder alignment
