Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. Full licensure from the state board, ensuring you are eligible to practice independently as a: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) No limited or provisional licenses; candidates must be in good standing without disciplinary actions.
