Key Responsibilities Conduct individual counseling sessions via secure video chat, employing therapeutic techniques that align with each client's unique needs. Facilitate the exploration of emotions and life experiences, enabling clients to gain self-awareness and strengthen their interpersonal relationships. Actively advocate for clients, guiding them in identifying their goals and determining actionable steps to achieve them. Assess and evaluate clients’ mental health conditions accurately using assessment tools and techniques, creating individualized treatment plans that are solution-focused and measurable. Prepare detailed and comprehensive patient assessments, assisting in treatment planning and revision based on clients' progress. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will serve a diverse client base, ranging from children to adults experiencing various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. Your ability to adapt your therapeutic approach to meet the varied needs of clients will be critical in providing effective support. You will utilize evidence-based modalities, drawing from a background in social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related area is required. An active professional license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential. A minimum of two years of independent practice in a clinical setting, demonstrating the ability to manage a caseload effectively without supervision. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a genuine empathetic nature. Proficient computer literacy skills, ensuring effective use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and virtual counseling platforms. Preferred Experience Experience in providing teletherapy is highly valued, as is familiarity with remote treatment methodologies. Background in working with diverse populations and a strong understanding of cultural competency in mental health care. Compensation and Benefits The position offers an annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience.
