Key Responsibilities Conduct individual therapy sessions via video chat, creating a safe and confidential space for clients to share their emotions and experiences. Encourage clients to articulate their thoughts and feelings, facilitating open discussions to foster therapeutic relationships. Assist clients in setting realistic and achievable therapeutic goals, using evidence-based strategies to guide their progress. Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring optimal support throughout the recovery process. Provide valuable advice on healthy coping mechanisms and strategies to manage mental health challenges. Collaborate with clients to identify potential barriers to recovery, offering strategies to overcome these obstacles. Patient Population / Client Focus Your practice will primarily involve working with stable, adult clients who have undergone thorough screening before utilizing our platform. This ensures you will be engaging with clients who are ready and willing to commit to their mental health journey in a remote setting, allowing you to focus on providing effective care without the stress of higher acuity cases. Qualifications A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Must hold an active, unrestricted license to practice independently, such as: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) No provisional or limited licenses, and no history of disciplinary actions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities. Proficient in using technology and online communication tools to conduct remote therapy sessions. Preferred Experience Experience in providing teletherapy or online counseling is an asset, though we are willing to provide training for those who are new to the telehealth environment. Familiarity with digital counseling platforms enhances your capability to engage effectively with clients. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary range of USD 120,000 – 140,000, commensurate with experience. A sign-on bonus of $3,000 to welcome you to our team. Weekly direct deposit for your convenience.
