Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, considering both psychological and medical conditions that may impact patient wellbeing. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with individuals confronting a variety of mental health challenges, often in conjunction with chronic medical conditions. Qualifications Education: A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. Licensure: Current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or LMFT in New York State. Competence: Proven ability to address diverse mental health needs, especially in individuals with co-occurring medical conditions. Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong propensity to build trust and rapport with patients. Ethics: Ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to confidentiality and ethical guidelines consistently.
