Seeking PhD Student to join the BUILD Dairy Program
The Dallas lab at Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR is recruiting a PhD student to join the BUILD Dairy Program and investigate the effects of UV-C processing on bovine milk proteins and lipids before and after digestion . The project will combine dairy science, food processing, proteomics, lipid analysis, and nutrition research to determine how non-thermal processing affects milk bioactivity compared with conventional pasteurization.
The goal of this project is to identify how to process milk to result in more health-promoting products for consumers.
Ideal candidates will have interests in dairy science, food science, nutrition, biochemistry or related fields and have some background in laboratory research. They must be a U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident.
