The Department of Geographical Sciences at the University of Maryland, College Park invites applications for 1–2 fully funded PhD positions in coastal geomorphology, starting Fall 2027.
The successful candidates will study coastal morphodynamics, sediment transport, hazards, and wetland dynamics using field data, geospatial analysis, and modeling, with funding via TA/RA and full tuition remission.
