Overview
An established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Dayton, TX is seeking a dedicated Family Physician to join their outpatient-only team . This is an excellent opportunity for providers passionate about serving underserved and uninsured communities in a collaborative and patient-centered environment.
Practice Highlights
• 100% outpatient setting - no inpatient responsibilities
• Patient volume: ~18-20 patients per day (2.5-2.75/hour)
• Flexible schedule options:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (Family Medicine; must obtain certification within 2 years)
• Active or eligible Texas medical license
• Residents and J1/H1B visa candidates are welcome to apply
• Commitment to community-based healthcare and underserved populations
Schedule & Coverage
• Outpatient only - no inpatient or OB responsibilities
• Monday-Friday or optional 4-day workweek
• Telephone call rotation approximately every 12-13 weeks
• Weekend: one half-day shift every 10-12 weeks

- Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM (includes one half-day admin)
- Optional 4-day workweek (8 AM-6 PM)
• Telephone call only , shared among 13 providers (approx. 1 week every 12-13 weeks)
• Minimal weekend coverage: one Saturday (8 AM-12 PM) every 10-12 weeks
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (Family Medicine; must obtain certification within 2 years)
• Active or eligible Texas medical license
• Residents and J1/H1B visa candidates are welcome to apply
