Job Description:
Under the direct supervision of the OR Unit Coordinator and the Director of Perioperative Services, demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment and the development of the nursing care plan, and participates in the evaluation of nursing care. Shares responsibility for individual patients or an entire patient population. This position will also cover education for the OR staff.
Required Licenses and Certifications:
- Kentucky, Registered Nurse
- Registered with Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact states
- CNOR - preferred
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of six (6) months' recent experience as a professional nurse preferred
