Job Description

Brooksource is searching for an Full stack Engineer to join our Fortune 50 Health Insurance partner as part of a platform expansion project supporting the predictive analytics and cloud engineering group. As a Junior Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, deploying and maintaining the front-end pieces of a software that identifies fraud, waste, and abuse in medical claims.

Daily You Will:

• Participate and contribute in the entire implementation process for new applications and enhancements to existing applications
• Provide input on the overall solution design
• Build and test applications (front-end focus)
• Meet with business partners to understand business needs
• Participate in guided mentorship from senior level team members and management
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement basic performance tuning
• Responsible for ensuring solution meets business needs
• Be a part of a fully agile environment

Skillset:

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in CS, MIS, or any related field)
• 1-2 years of professional expereince
• Strong background and core coursework in Node.JS(specifically Express framework)
• Strong background and core coursework in REACT (specifically Material U.I. libraries)
• Strong background and core coursework in SQL/relational database proficiency
• Experience in Web Development (HTML, CSS) a plus
• Understanding of Agile methodology a plus
• Basic operational understanding of DevOps
• Familiarity/Experience working with Kubernetes, GitLab

· Self-starter and capable of working with minimum oversight
