About the Program
Kaweah HealthMedical Center is a level III 435-bed teaching hospital thathas the volume and resources of a Level II trauma center, with 2,200 annualtrauma activations and a thriving General Surgery Residency Program. The traumaand ACS teams work in close partnership with intensivists to deliver seamless,high-acuity care.
The Role
The TraumaAPP provides inpatient, consultative, and perioperative care as part of acollaborative trauma team that includes attending surgeons, residents, andintensivists.
Key Responsibilities
Provide daytime coverage for traumaand ACS services (10-hour shifts)
Assist in surgical ward and ICU management
Conduct ER consults, postoperativecare, and discharge planning
- $150.000 annual compensation
Qualifications
Licensed PA-C, ACNP, or NP (surgicalexperience preferred)
Strong interest in teaching andacademic medicine
Ability to work collaboratively in amultidisciplinary team
