Qualifications
Minimum of 60 credit hours in an associate or baccalaureate educational program, or full-time experience as a certified police officer at the time of appointment, or four years of active-duty military experience with an honorable discharge; possess valid driver's license; be a U.S. citizen; be in good physical condition and possess the ability and desire to deal with the public.
Special Requirements
Candidates will be required to complete a rigorous hiring process, including a written exam; physical agility testing; oral board; psychological exam; polygraph exam, and medical/physical exam; as well as an extensive background check.
