- Assist the classroom teacher in the delivery of effective instruction in a grade Prek-K through grade 8 school district
- Works with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Ability to exercise good judgment, flexibility on placement, and promote a safe and secure learning environment
- Experience in special education is preferred
- An understanding that placement may vary from year to year
- Performs other related duties assigned
- Substitute Certificate preferred
