Full-Time or Part-Time Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 650+ provider multi-specialty group practice that has an excellent opportunity for a Fellowship Trained, Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine Provider to join a well-established practice of 2 other Full-Time MFM physicians, 1 dedicated genetic counselor and 5 sonographers treating patients in the clinical setting in both Boise & Nampa.

Labor and Delivery (L&D) Rounds are multidisciplinary in nature and attended by MFM, 24-hour OB Hospitalists, OB/GYN Generalists, L&D unit coordinator, L&D Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, nurses, pharmacists, social worker, case manager and often both nursing and pharmacy students.

Our hospital is a regional referral center with 24 hour in-house anesthesia coverage, a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, on-site gynecologic oncology, interventional radiology, pediatric surgery and pediatric gastroenterology, and the region's only ACS verified Level II Trauma Center. Additionally, our providers have the privilege of caring for women seen in the resettled within the community through the Refugee Resettlement program.

Schedule:

• Typical M-F 8am-5pm work week with 32 patient facing hours per week.

Call:

• Shared (appx 1:3) consultative call including weekends, no in house calls, no deliveries (unless desired).

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
• Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA OBGYN Residency and Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship;
• Board Certification, or obtain certification within 3 years of employment;
• Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC-Boise and SAMC-Nampa;
• Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
