Full-Time or Part-Time AccountantABR is recruiting a FULL-TIME or PART-TIME Accountant Location: Wausau Industry: Manufacturing Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Starting salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year range (based on experience) and full-time employees receive a full benefits package.Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Full Cycle Accountant to join our growing manufacturing team. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliationsPrepare and process journal entries and maintain accurate financial recordsAssist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activitiesReconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepanciesSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processesMonitor inventory transactions and assist with manufacturing cost accounting activitiesMaintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation recordsProcess payroll or assist with payroll reconciliation as neededPrepare sales tax filings and assist with other regulatory reporting requirementsCollaborate with operations and production teams to ensure accurate financial tracking and reportingAssist with audits by preparing supporting documentation and responding to auditor requestsIdentify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies within accounting proceduresEnsure compliance with company policies, GAAP standards, and internal controlsQualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reportingExperience with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of inventory, cost accounting, and manufacturing processes preferredHigh level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong communication and problem-solving abilitiesABR Employment Services is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
