Private practice located near Wallingford, CT is looking for a full or part-time Optometrist for their busy full scope practice. This is a great opportunity for an Optometrist that is very patient focused and is looking for a great working environment.
Position Highlights:
- Experience and interest in specialty contact lens preferred
- State of the art equipment incl OCT, Visual Field, etc
- Practice full scope optometry
- Warm, friendly, patient focused practice
- Avg 20-25 patients per day with tech support
- Great location near New Haven, approx 1/2 hour from Hartford, 2 hours from NYC
- Salary range of $170,000-$200,000
Responsibilities of the Optometrist (OD)
- Perform comprehensive eye health and vision examinations
- Diagnose disease and vision disorders
- Counsel patients regarding their vision needs
Requirements of the Optometrist (OD)
- Doctor of Optometry degree (OD)
- License to practice in the state of CT
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
