We are seeking a qualified full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Radiology-PET department.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Performing hot lab functions, including handling radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with regulations.
  • Calibrating dose calibrators and conducting QC procedures on gamma cameras.
  • Identifying patients and explaining procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.
  • Acquiring high-quality images using prescribed technical parameters.
  • Ensuring test accuracy and assisting physicians with imaging procedures.
  • Maintaining department cleanliness and adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Providing courteous assistance to patients, families, and staff.
  • Completing assigned tasks timely and performing additional departmental duties as needed.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Current NJ State license and ARRT and/or NMTCB certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • Preferred: PET experience and two years hospital technologist experience.

Additional Details

  • Day shift, 40 hours/week.
  • Must demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and responsiveness to instructions.
