Millwright IWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Millwright I to support the Maintenance functions of our high-volume lumber mill operation. As part of a large-scale team committed to continuous improvement, this role will play a key part in supporting our workforce by maintaining smooth day-to-day equipment operations.Job Requirements:Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems throughout the plantTroubleshoot and repair AC and DC electrical systemsHave extensive knowledge on safe and proper use of oxygen and acetylene welding and cutting equipment/arc welding equipmentTrouble shoot, repair and/or rebuild sawmill equipmentUse computer operating systems of various sawmill equipmentRead schematics in order to fabricate parts and equipmentDesire to understand and operate computer operating systems for various mill equipmentRequired to have necessary hand tools to complete most repairsMust be able to handle hazardous waste according to company policy and have knowledge of all legal requirementsMust be able to follow written and oral instructionsMust follow all fall protection and lockout/tagout proceduresWork in a safe and cooperative manner with all team membersKeep work area clean and orderly at all timesMust be willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays when necessaryQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical training degree/certificate preferred3+ years' experience in a Maintenance roleAbility to troubleshoot, repair and/or rebuild sawmill equipmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills for interacting positively with all people inside and outside our organizationTeam-oriented mindset with a proactive attitudeRelated industry or sawmill experience preferredMust have a valid driver's license and reliable transportationBenefits:401k Match up to 4%Discretionary profit sharingPaid vacation and holidaysMedical & Dental coverageLife insuranceDiscounted gym membershipCal Ore Life Flight Membership
