Join Lap of Love as an In‑Home Associate Veterinarian in the Greater Hampton Roads Region of Virginia.
As a mobile veterinarian, you will provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
You will be part of a community of over 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with ongoing training and mentorship.
We offer flexible 2–5 day‑per‑week schedules, minimal paperwork, and a supportive culture that values professional fulfillment and personal freedom.
Responsibilities
- Provide hospice and euthanasia care at clients’ homes.
- Conduct an average of 3–4 appointments per day, focusing on compassionate care.
- Maintain accurate client records and collaborate with support staff.
- Participate in ongoing training and mentorship activities.
Schedule & Compensation
Flexible 2–5 day‑per‑week schedules.
Base salary ranges: 4‑day positions start at $107,500, 5‑day positions at $130,000 plus bonus opportunities; 3‑day full‑time and part‑time positions offer prorated compensation.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Subject to background and motor vehicle record checks.
