In-Home Associate Veterinarian – Fredericksburg, VA (and surrounding areas). Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in the clients’ homes.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat terminally ill pets and provide end‑of‑life care.
- Perform euthanasia procedures with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Educate pet owners on palliative care options and subsequent steps.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to safety and regulatory standards for mobile veterinary practice.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Subject to background and motor vehicle record checks before hire and start date.
