Job Summary And Responsibilities
- Performs CT exams on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction of the Medical Director.
- Prepares equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning according to diagnostic standards
- Problem‐solves equipment failure and imaging quality and contacts service representative or CES regarding equipment problems
- Ensures that daily equipment and room maintenance are performed during/ after each procedure, and that special precautions and measures are performed to ensure infection control standards.
- Completes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintained
- Completes all clinical supply inventories, ensuring that each diagnostic room is complete with the necessary supplies required to perform the procedure.

Required
Job Requirements
- High School or GED
- General Studies upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) within 14 - days
Preferred
- Associates
- One (1) year of experience as a radiographer
- or one (1) year of radiography clinical rotation experience in a healthcare setting
Licensure and Certifications
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR) upon Hire- Required
- Medical Radiographer: TX (MRAD:TX)- upon Hire- Required
- Registered Technologist Computed Tomography (RTCT) within 9 months
Where You'll Work
St. Luke's Health - Patients Medical Center provides inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services to residents of Pasadena, Deer Park, La Porte, Baytown, and Clear Lake. The facility includes 53 medical/surgical beds, eight ICU beds and three endoscopy rooms, and offers a range of primary and specialized services—wound care, general surgery, gastroenterology, occupational health, heart and vascular, women’s services, diagnostic imaging, outpatient rehab services, and sleep disorders.
Pay Range
$36.51- $60.24/hourly
