Job Purpose
Performs and assists with high quality diagnostic CT and X-ray procedures, focusing on patient care and education. This position is from 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.

Duties
- Provide high quality diagnostic CT imaging
- Identify patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with patients and others to understand service needs
- Ensure operation of radiology equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future changes, enforcing adherence, and advising management on needed actions
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, establishing networks, and participating in professional societies
- Gain patient cooperation by reducing anxieties, providing explanations of treatment, and answering questions
- Prepare patient for radiological procedures by positioning, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment, and setting exposure factors
- Minimize radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection‑control policies, following drug protocols for reactions to contrast media, administering first aid, and using the emergency cart
- Maintain production and quality of radiographs by following standards, developing radiographs, observing results, and making necessary adjustments
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

- Required Certifications: ARRT and Texas Medical Board
- Location: Dallas, TX
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm
- Benefits: 80 hours of accrued PTO, health insurance, scrubs provided
- No weekends or on-call required
