Role Overview

Provides direct patient care by assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions according to established standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating them on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Collaborates with the interprofessional team to develop, implement, and document individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Supports patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
• Participates in professional development and promotes a healing environment.
• Works in a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• RN license required; nursing diploma or associate's degree in nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing and less than 2 years of experience.
• Critical care or procedural experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, assessment, and patient education skills.

Additional Details

• Work primarily during night shifts with some pre-op support and 24-hour call coverage.
