As part of our Hardware Technology organization, you'll help design and build highly available web applications and data visualization frameworks.
You will work across the software stack, from designing scalable APIs and data pipelines to creating intuitive front-end interfaces, and integrating AI-powered features into our services. In this highly visible role, you will be part of an agile software team that produces high-quality tools and services used across the organization for tracking, triaging, and debugging various chip design workflows to enable hardware engineering teams to design the world's most advanced silicon more efficiently!Primary responsibilities for this role include:Designing and maintaining end-to-end web applications, including frontend, backend, and database layersDeveloping and debugging tools in a custom Linux environmentCollaborating with cross-functional teams to create dashboards that visualize and track critical chip design metricsDeveloping and deploying REST APIs that serve both traditional and AI-driven featuresContributing to CI/CD pipelines, testing, and monitoring to ensure reliabilityMinimum qualifications:Minimum requirement of BS + 10 years of relevant industry experienceHands-on experience in at least one general-purpose programming language (Python, JavaScript, or Go)Experience with frontend web development (React and modern JavaScript frameworks)Experience with SQL and NoSQL databasesExperience with a Linux environmentUnderstanding of RESTful API design and authentication techniques (Eg. JWT, OAuth etc)Preferred qualifications:Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principlesWorking knowledge of Splunk or the Elastic StackExperience building microservices based web architectureExperience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, GitLab, etc.Experience with Docker or Kubernetes container orchestrationExperience integrating LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) into applicationsAbility to work in a dynamic and highly collaborative team environmentStrong attention to detail and excellent analytical capabilitiesApple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
