The position is required to support SSD firmware validation, test automation, and CI/CD development activities for SSD Product Security Infrastructure. This role is critical to maintaining business continuity and ongoing engineering commitments.
Responsibilities- Conducting requirements gathering and analysis to understand the domain of the software problem and/or functionality, the interfaces between hardware and software, and the overall software characteristics
- Using programming, scripting, and/or database languages to write the software code
- Supporting software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding software enhancements
- Applying knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- 5-7 years of experience in software development or software engineering.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C/C++, C#, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience developing, testing, debugging, deploying, and maintaining software applications or platform-level software.
- Experience with requirements analysis, software interfaces, and translating technical requirements into software solutions.
- Familiarity with Git/source control, code reviews, build processes, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and modern software engineering best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Compensation: $55 - $70 per hour
