We are seeking a highly experienced Full Stack Java Developer with strong expertise in backend and frontend technologies.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in Java development, containerized platforms, and DevSecOps practices.

This role involves designing, developing, and supporting scalable applications in an Agile environment, with a focus on performance, security, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
  • Develop and support frontend components using Angular.
  • Work with containerized platforms, preferably OpenShift, and deploy services via Jenkins.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and perform database performance tuning (SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Integrate messaging queues such as IBM MQ and Active MQ.
  • Create and manage Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines from scratch.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices including vulnerability detection and remediation using tools like Sonar and JFrog.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, recommending both interim and long-term solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Contribute to integration and performance testing efforts.
  • Stay motivated to learn and adopt new technologies.
  • Provide production support and ensure system reliability.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in full stack development using:
  • Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot
  • RESTful APIs
  • Angular
  • SQL Server and Oracle (including stored procedures and performance tuning)
  • Experience with containerized platforms (OpenShift preferred).
  • Familiarity with messaging queues (IBM MQ, Active MQ).
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience creating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or ADO.
  • Hands-on experience with Sonar scan and JFrog for vulnerability management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with integration and performance testing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Familiarity with secure coding standards and vulnerability management tools.
