Full Stack Java DeveloperGenesis10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Java Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.In this role, the successful candidate will initially work on a Treasury Viewer application, focusing on tech modernization, performance improvements, and new product onboarding related to the Interest Rate Risk Management framework. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a modern microservices web-based architecture and improve performance and resiliency while delivering new business capabilities for an important CIO initiative.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Java and modern front-end technologiesBuild and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, and integrations with external systems using a microservice, container-based architectureWrite clean, efficient, well-documented code and perform code reviewsDevelop responsive and dynamic UI components using frameworks such as AngularEnsure application quality through unit testing, integration testing, and debuggingOptimize application performance, scalability, and reliabilityCollaborate regularly with Technology Managers, Product Managers, Delivery Leads, and feature team teammatesDeliver features as per agreed requirements and acceptance criteriaBuild reliable, performant, secure, and scalable applicationsRequirements:7+ years of experience as a full stack Java developerDesign and development experience in web services using RESTful web API and JSONExperience with modern application architecture including Containers, Microservices, Cloud, and Secure coding principlesWorking experience in OpenShift, Unix, Kafka, and SplunkProficiency with Java, Spring Boot, REST, Angular, and Node.jsExcellent debugging and problem-solving skillsGreat team player with good communication skillsAccountable and willing to take ownership with enthusiasm in the face of technical challengesDesired Skills:Data analytics or modeling experienceFinancial services industry knowledge/experience in Capital Markets, Hedging, Cash Management, etcExperience with Oracle Exadata, Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket, and BootstrapPay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
