About the role
We are building a network of independent career coaches who can help ambitious candidates pursue full-stack software engineering interviews, coding screens, take-home projects, system design, portfolio positioning, and technical job-search strategy opportunities with more focus, preparation, and confidence.
This is a remote contract role paying $50-$100 per hour. You can accept as many or as few candidates as you would like, based on your availability and fit.
What you will do
- Help candidates build a practical job-search strategy, including role targeting, positioning, outreach, and application prioritization.
- Prepare candidates for interviews, case discussions, technical screens, take-home assignments, modeling tests, written exercises, and other assessment steps.
- Develop, adjust, and tailor your own coaching curriculum based on your background, the candidate's goals, and the realities of the roles they are pursuing.
- Make thoughtful introductions to qualified candidates within your network when appropriate.

You are self-starting, independent, organized, and comfortable operating without a rigid script. You have strong interpersonal judgment, communicate clearly, and can help candidates turn ambition into a concrete search process.
