StrongDM is a platform that provides zero-trust access control to databases, servers, and applications. The Full Stack Engineer will design and implement front-end interfaces and distributed systems, collaborating with product and design teams to enhance user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Technical design and implementation of strongDM front‑end interfaces (web and desktop) in TypeScript and React
- Design and implement highly concurrent, scalable and high‑performance distributed systems in Go
- Collaborate with product and design teams to consistently deliver experiences to be proud of
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, improve system efficiency, and ensure scalability
Qualification
Required
- 2+ years building beautiful experiences with modern web technologies and developing distributed systems in a cloud environment
- Experience in at least one of: React, Vue, Svelte, Angular (we currently use React)
- Experience in at least one of: Go, Rust, C, C++ or a similar programming language (we currently use Go)
- Familiarity with cross‑platform desktop and mobile techniques (we use Electron)
- A solid product and design sense, but a love for writing code
- A passion for testing
- Excellent interpersonal skills
