We’re partnering with a Series B insurance technology company building the software behind commercial underwriting, pricing and policy management.
What you’ll do
- Build services and applications supporting pricing, risk assessment and policy workflows.
- Translate complex calculations and business rules into maintainable software.
- Develop APIs and user interfaces that make specialist workflows easier to use.
- Improve performance, reliability and data accuracy.
- Contribute to architecture and product decisions as the platform grows.
- Own features from initial requirements through testing, release and ongoing improvement.
What you’ll bring
- Experience building and operating production software.
- Strong backend development skills in TypeScript, Node.js, Python or a similar language.
- Frontend experience with React or comparable modern frameworks.
- Confidence designing APIs and working with relational databases.
- Good engineering judgement, with attention to testing, correctness and maintainability.
- Clear communication and the ability to work directly with business specialists.
