We are seeking a Cloud Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AWS cloud services, backend engineering, and data engineering and a proven ability to design, build, and operate scalable, reliable cloud-native services

Job Description

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern backend services and a proven ability to design, build, test, deploy, and maintain resilient and secure applications using Agile practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native backend services on AWS using Java and Python.
• Build and optimize data pipelines and integrations leveraging Glue, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, ECS, and Cassandra.
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and ensure operational stability and observability.
• Develop services and APIs using Spring Boot and gRPC following microservices patterns.
• Apply CI/CD, resiliency, and security best practices across the software lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and support technical assessments

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operations in AWS.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Expertise with data engineering tools and processes including Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Cassandra, and ETL.
• Experience with AWS services: Glue, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, and ECS.
• Experience building services with Spring Boot and gRPC APIs.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, Kubernetes, and containers.
• Advanced understanding of CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within cloud and related domains.

Preferred Skills:

• AWS Solutions Architect Certification
