Job Description:

Job Summary:

As a Full Stack Engineer - Java / AWS / Onprem DB, you will be a hands-on technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining scalable backend and cloud-based applications. This role requires strong Java and Spring Boot expertise, experience working in AWS environments, and ownership of CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and performant applications that support critical business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot
  • Build and enhance RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices
  • Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable builds and deployments
  • Deploy, monitor, and support applications in AWS cloud environments
  • Work with SQL and/or NoSQL databases to support application functionality
  • Implement DevSecOps practices including unit, integration, and automation testing
  • Collaborate with product owners, QA, and other engineers to deliver sprint goals
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to coding standards and best practices
  • Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
Required Skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
  • Hands-on experience running and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • 3+ years of experience working in AWS cloud environments
  • Experience with at least one database technology:
  • - Oracle
  • - PL/SQL
  • - DynamoDB
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and Docker containers
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with event-driven architectures
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps automation and testing frameworks
  • Experience with NoSQL and distributed systems
  • Familiarity with security and performance testing tools
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
