Full Stack Engineer

Insight Global are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join a global financial markets and data organisation, supporting a business-critical Operational Tooling team responsible for applications used in the creation, review, management and governance of financial indices.

This position requires 3 days onsite per week in Fort Mill, South Carolina for a 6-month contract rolling contract.

The Full Stack Engineer will design, build and enhance enterprise applications supporting index computation, application review and wider operational workflows. This is an ownership-focused engineering role where you will work directly with technical teams and business stakeholders to understand business problems, evaluate implementation options and design the right technical solutions.

You will develop modern front-end applications using Angular alongside backend services and APIs using C#/.NET, taking responsibility for delivery from requirements and technical design through development, testing and production. You will also enhance existing applications, introduce new functionality and support the design of new applications and workflows while maintaining strong standards around code quality, testing and maintainability.

Must-Have Requirements Include:

• Strong hands-on development experience with C# and .NET.
• Strong front-end development experience with Angular. Candidates with particularly strong AI-assisted engineering capabilities may have lighter Angular experience.
• Experience designing and building enterprise-scale web applications.
• Experience designing and developing APIs, services and system integrations.
• Experience developing cloud-native applications.
• Proven ability to take ownership of end-to-end delivery, from requirements gathering and technical design through development and production.
• Strong hands-on experience writing unit tests and testing your own development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
