This associate will work on one of the top initiatives within all of Fidelity crafting a brand-new Platform for our Health/Wellness platform and will be responsible for the development and design of the core platform which will be utilized to host these brand-new applications.
Skills and Knowledge:6-9 years of professional software development experience in a diverse set of distributed application development and middleware technologies such REST Web Services, Java 8 capabilities (Lambda, Streams and Functional interfaces), SQL, ORM, Spring modules including IOC, Batch and Spring Boot5+ years of working experience in Java TechnologiesKnowledge of software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operationsWorking knowledge in Unit Testing Frameworks, OAuth2 and SecurityExperience working with cloud computing strategies and architecture (Azure, AKS, Azure Batch Manager, ADF etc) preferable.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree or higher6 - 9+ years total Java development experience1+ years of development experience using Cloud technology a plusInvestment/financial services and/or brokerage industry experience is highly desired a plus
