Full Stack Developer (Risk Consulting)

We are seeking an independent, client-facing Senior Full-Stack Developer (6 10 years of experience) to design, code, and deploy robust modules using the MERN stack, SQL, and AWS infrastructure.
Required:
• Experience & Stack: 6 to 10 years of professional full-stack web development. Strong proficiency in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) paired with relational SQL database design and complex query writing a premium hybrid data talent pool.
• Client Engagement & Communication: Excellent communication skills with explicit readiness to act as a technical resource when selling or presenting solutions directly to high-profile enterprise accounts like Marsh clients.
• Cloud & DevOps: Practical knowledge of AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and collaborative Git workflows (branching, merging, pull requests).
• Domain Context (Bonus Value): Prior insurance or claims knowledge, custom data analytics experience, and a track record with large-scale system migrations will heavily accelerate onboarding.
• Professional Attributes: Deep understanding of software best practices (testing, debugging, documentation) with a proven ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.
• Containerization & Automation: Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Modern Languages: TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Efficiency: Ability to leverage AI-driven tools to optimize programming workflows.

Duties:
• Development & Data: Independently design, code, test, and debug technical modules using MERN and SQL. Handle custom data analytics and system migrations.
• Deployment & Git: Deploy and maintain applications on AWS infrastructure. Manage source code repository hygiene using Git.
• Client & Team Support: Provide escalated help desk support, monitor support trends to advise senior leadership, and serve as an enterprise technical resource.
• Execution & Mentorship: Meet project milestones under limited guidance, follow rigorous security/testing standards, and actively mentor junior developers.
