Based in Comstock Park, MI, our facility is where we design, decorate, warehouse, and distribute top-notch screen-printed and embroidered apparel. Our products are trusted by major destinations like Theme Parks, Zoos, Aquariums, Museums, Airports, National Parks, and Resort Marketplaces across the country.We are seeking a Full-Cycle Accountant to manage our accounting process from transaction entry to financial reporting.
This role will report to the Director of Finance and is responsible for all aspects of accounting including invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close processes. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and experience handling the full accounting cycle.Essential Functions:Perform journal entries, accruals, and adjustmentsMaintain and reconcile general ledger accountsPrepare and review monthly financial statementsAssist with budgeting and forecastingManage time and attendance and process weekly payrollDevelop and maintain actionable reportingReview and finalize customer invoices and credit memosProcess vendor invoices and authorize checks and wire transfersManage accounts receivable and cash receiptsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reportingAnalyze financial data and provide recommendationsReview, improve, and document accounting proceduresAdhere to and monitor compliance with internal controlsScan and archive accounting recordsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field2+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting or similar accounting rolesProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteIntermediate proficiency in Excel (e.g. filtering, pivot tables)Experienced in navigating Accounting and HRIS softwarePreferred Qualifications & Skills:Proficient in QuickBooksExperience with Paylocity HRIS softwarePhysical Requirements & Conditions:Ability to sit at a desk or computer for extended periods of time.Ability to move about the office and factory with occasional lifting, bending and reaching.Ability to dial, hear and respond to telephone calls and inquiries as necessary.Ability to communicate effectively, visually and verbally with internal and external contacts.Meet requirements of daily attendance on job for a full, continuous work schedule.Hours:Full-time position, Exempt On-siteMonday – Friday, regular business hoursPay:Pay range $50,000 - $85,000 annually (negotiable based off experience)Ready to be part of our dynamic team at Perrin Sportswear?
