Full-Charge BookkeeperRobert Half is seeking a talented and experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our permanent Engagement Professionals consulting team. This role offers the best of both worlds: long-term career development with the excitement of dynamic client work.Key Responsibilities:Full-Charge Bookkeeping: Manage all aspects of the general ledger including A/P, A/R, payroll, and bank reconciliations.Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.Month-End & Year-End Close: Lead and execute accurate and timely closing processes.Budget Management: Assist in budget preparation, monitor variances, and recommend cost-saving opportunities.Tax Support: Partner with tax professionals to ensure documentation is accurate and ready for filings.Compliance: Maintain adherence to internal controls, GAAP, and other regulatory standards.Data Entry & Accuracy: Ensure financial records are complete and accurate, including reconciliations and adjustments.Client Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor by building relationships with clients and keeping them informed of project financials.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or similar accounting roleProficient with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar platforms)Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger functionsSolid understanding of payroll processes and tax regulationsExcellent attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry and reportingStrong organizational and time management skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactionPreferred: Certified Bookkeeper (ACB) or similar certificationRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)3+ years of bookkeeping experience, including full-charge responsibilitiesStrong customer service mindset with the ability to adapt across industriesWillingness to work onsite as needed based on client assignmentsThis is a great opportunity to grow your accounting career within a supportive, forward-thinking consulting environment.
