This includes organizing and preparing work papers, preparing bank deposits and reconciliations; administering general ledger coding, postings and documents for correct entryCollect and enter/download data from clients and review for accuracyFile and retrieve documents, records, and reportsPrepare engagement letters and other correspondence with clientsBack-end processing such as printing, coping, filing, basic quality assurance and delivery of tax returnsOperates accounting and/or tax software to record, store and analyze dataAdditional responsibilities as assignedPreferred QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not requiredProficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) accounting softwareProficiency in Yardi, Sage Intacct, Bill.com, Gusto, other software skills a plusStrong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple client assignments simultaneouslyMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDAt least 2 years of accounting work experienceAbility to work in a team environment as well as independentlyMust maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertiseProficient use of applicable technologyDemonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externallyAbout UsCBIZ, Inc.
