Full-Charge Bookkeeper

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to serve as the primary accounting professional on-site, working directly with and reporting to the Controller. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing the day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and taking ownership of the bookkeeping function from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Complete monthly bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Process customer invoicing and monitor collections
• Manage vendor payments and account maintenance
• Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation for the Controller
• Research and resolve discrepancies, variances, and accounting issues
• Monitor cash activity and maintain accurate bookkeeping records
• Support audits and special projects as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
• Strong experience with AP, AR, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
• Working knowledge of general ledger accounting and month-end close procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
