All Saints by-the-Sea Episcopal Church is seeking a detail-oriented, mission-driven Full Charge Bookkeeper to support the vital financial operations of our vibrant Church and Parish School. 📋 Essential Job Functions

As our Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will lead our day-to-day financial workflows, maintaining the internal controls and transparency that drive our mission forward. Your core focus areas will include: 

·      Managing day-to-day A/P, A/R, deposits, reconciliations, and general ledger entries. 

·      Preparing monthly financial reports, including income statements and actual-to-budget analyses. 

·      Processing payroll and maintaining accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements. 

·      Partnering with leadership, Treasurer, committees, and outside auditors for budget & audit prep. 

·      Translating financial information into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders and leadership. 

🎓 What You’ll Bring

·      Accounting Expertise: Collegiate-level knowledge of accounting principles (a degree or

coursework in accounting/finance is preferred). 

·      Proven Track Record: Solid experience in bookkeeping or comparable accounting roles.

Experience with nonprofit fund accounting is a major plus! 

·      Tech Savvy: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. 

·      Core Strengths: Attention to detail, reliability, discretion, and the ability to work independently.
