Full, Associate, or Assistant Professor for the Division of General Pediatrics

Cohen Children's Medical Center and Zucker School of Medicine of Northwell Health are seeking clinician-educators or clinician-investigators for a Full, Associate, or Assistant Professor position within the Division of General Pediatrics. This role involves contributing to optimal child health and well-being through interdisciplinary research and informing program and policy changes. The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative division and have access to extensive scholastic and research resources.

• The Division of General Pediatrics sees nearly 40,000 patients annually.
• The Northwell Pediatrics Ambulatory Care Network sees over 200,000 patients annually.
• The Division is the ambulatory training site for nearly 100 pediatric residents, over 120 medical students, and several allied health professionals.
• The Division has over $2 million in annual federal, state, and foundation grant funding.
• The Division is expanding to two satellite locations within Queens and Nassau County.
• Faculty will have appointments in the Institute of Health System Science within the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research of Northwell Health.

Compensation

• Competitive salary
• Full-time clinical base compensation ranges from $125,000 to $750,000

Requirements

• M.D. and/or PhD or equivalent degree
• Demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and research
• Strong academic credentials
• Record or promise of external research funding
• Priority given to candidates pursuing research relevant to pediatric population health and/or health services research
• Priority given to candidates with greater experience following graduate training
• Priority given to candidates with an established track record of high impact publication and extramural funding
• Interest in Advocacy and Community Health, with leadership opportunities in the pediatric residency program
• Interest in Children and Adolescents with Medical Complexity Transition to Adulthood and Adult Care Services
• Interest in Obesity and Weight Management Services
