FRTB Project ManagerNYC, NY (3 days onsite - Hybrid) 12 months Web Cam Interview W2 Only Looking for Market Risk, Capital Risks, Front-Office experience along with FRTB regulations, strong project management skills, JIRA – familiarity, handling escalations & regularly, updating PowerPoint time-to-time basis.
The role will be part of a core central Program Management Team charged with ensuring the timely execution of deliverables across all workstreams whilst imparting subject matter expertise and know-how. The candidate must be an individual experienced in project management and with sufficient subject matter expertise and capital markets experience to be able to provide meaningful solutions that are functional and sustainable.Primary Responsibilities:Support the Program Initiative lead(s) to drive execution of strategic deliverablesLead or participate in working groups, workshops and with stakeholders to understand business requirements, define project plans and manage timelinesImpart subject matter expertise by providing guidance, support and constructive challenge on business initiatives to ensure alignment with program strategyAssist in ensuring that all target state tools, processes and controls are socialized effectively and are approved at or by the appropriate governance forum or levelManage internal and external dependencies across initiatives, including working closely with Risk Managers, Product Owners, Front Office, Product Control and Technology teamsIdentify challenges and proactively seek to resolve or escalate risk and issues in a timely and well-articulated manner to the projects by engaging relevant stakeholders and PMsEngage senior stakeholders continuously by escalating and resolving issues as they ariseProduce accurate and insightful project update materials and artifacts, tailoring to various forums and committeesBuild strong relationships, adopting a joined-up approach, to support the execution of programsSkills RequiredStrong & proven track record in strategic project management and delivering complex solutions are essentialHas significant experience in Capital Markets Transformation or similar Front Office rolesFamiliar with Market Risk, Finance, and Capital conceptsSignificant experience in scoping, developing and prioritizing plans for strategic initiativesExcellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive with the judgement and authority to provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholdersA solid understanding of mechanisms to track and communicate performanceAbility to drive change to business practices by working effectively across a global organization and understand different perspectivesThought leadership in target state design through engaging stakeholders at various levels of the organizationDemonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem-solving capability6+ years of relevant industry experienceSkills PreferredExperience in managing Capital Markets, Market Risk, and Regulatory related projectsBachelors/University degree, Master's degree preferredProject Management certifications e.g., PMP or equivalent a strong plus
